CHELTENHAM HIGH SCHOOL MARCHING BAND
The Marching Panthers are a crowd favorite at area marching band festivals and Panther football games, entertaining thousands of fans each year with their high-powered field production and spirit rallying pep music in the stands. Marching Band is a physically demanding and mentally challenging activity that blends music and motion in a unique art form.
While the musicians set the scene with intense music and dramatic moves on the field, the Color Guard paints a visual picture of the music through a mix of choreographed dance, colorful flag routines, and other visual elements that bring the show to life. Each year the Marching Panthers design and arrange a custom field production for our students to perform at competitions, festivals, and football games throughout the region. While it is hard work, the rewards of achieving greatness through the marching band activity brings students together in a team effort unlike any other.
Being a member of the marching band is a great way to share your interest in music with like-minded students, make new friends, enjoy sensational travel experiences and create lasting memories.
